Mission

1. Mission Statement

• To work for its total Socio-Economic development giving priority to Agricultural development, roads and bridges, water system, and lighting facilities.

• To provide the Municipality’s constituents with necessary access to basic social services;

• To provide full and unwavering support and cooperation to the different line agencies of the government who are working in the Municipality, and also to include the Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) in the municipality for the effective implementation of their programs and projects;

• To have Agri-Industrialization and Livelihood Skills Development in the municipality for employment generation to provide employment for the unemployed sectors in the municipality; and

• To create more Livelihood and Income-Generating Projects and extend regularly the necessary basic social services to the alleviation of poverty in the municipality.

• To be able to put into proper perspective of the socio-economic, political and administrative situation of the municipality.

• To re-aligned the Vision of the municipality and define its Mission for the next three (3) years term as guidepost of all its development, efforts;

• To adopt a unified set of interventions in the form of Local Development Investment Plans considered priority for the next three years;

• To act as a three years development blueprint of the municipality
